District 2 – Rich Lettman
Rich Lettman grew up in San Gabriel, California (Los Angeles County) the third of four children in his family. His father grew up on the Navajo Nation near Shiprock, New Mexico before moving as a teenager to Promontory Point, Utah. His mother (the youngest of 12 children) emigrated to California from Eastern Oklahoma during the “Dust Bowl” in the 1930’s.
Education
- In 1972, Rich received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Brigham Young University.
- In 1997, he received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.
Work Experience
Rich has over 50 years of business experience including:
- From 1972 to 1993 he worked in numerous management assignments for Carter Hawley Hale Store (acquired by Macy’s) in San Francisco Bay Area and in Phoenix, Arizona
- From 1993 to 2004 he was a Senior Finance Director for Office Depot in Boca Raton, Florida
- From 2004 to 2006 was a Director of Special Projects for Office Depot Europe living in Leicester, England and Venlo, The Netherlands.
- From 2006 to 2009, he returned to Office Depot in Florida as a Senior Director.
- In 2010, he was a consultant working with the Xerox corporation stationed in Manila, Republic of the Philippines.
- In 2011, Rich moved to Bullhead City and started COIT Cleaning and Restoration, a company that employed over 240 people. Rich sold the company to new owners in late 2023.
