District 5 – Ron Gould

Ron Gould is a small businessman and former four-term State Senator. Gould also served on the Lake Havasu City Council. Since 1984, he has owned and operated an air conditioning contracting business. As a conservative, he is particularly interested in limited government, increasing personal freedom and increasing personal responsibility. During his time in the Senate, Gould was Chairman of the Ethics Committee along with chairing the Judiciary, Transportation and Retirement Committees. Ron was also Vice-Chairman of the Education, Appropriations, Judiciary, and Finance Committee. In addition to being a political advocate, Ron is an avid reader and enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including; hunting, motorcycling, horseback riding, boating, water skiing, and gardening. Ron was raised in Orange County, California. He moved to Arizona in 1995 in pursuit of a better quality of life and lower taxes. He brought with him his wife, Janice and his three children. Ron also has seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
