Mohave County Recorder’s Office to Implement New Credit Card Payment System Beginning July 9

The Mohave County Recorder’s Office today announced it will upgrade its credit card payment system, effective July 9, 2025. This upgrade comes as the office’s current credit card integration will no longer be compatible with our recording system.

Project Timeline

  • July 9: Launch of the new credit card processing system.
  • July 10: Credit card payments will be temporarily unavailable for all services involving copies and document recordings while the system is fully implemented.

Payment Fee Update
As part of the new integration, the office will adjust its credit/debit card transaction fees as follows:

  • A $1.50 minimum fee per transaction, or
  • A 3.5% transaction fee—whichever amount is greater.

This replaces the previous $0.75 flat fee per transaction.

Service Note
During the implementation period on July 10, credit and debit card payments will be temporarily unavailable for services related to document copies and recordings. Other payment methods, including cash and checks, will still be accepted.
