Applications for Cerbat Constable Vacancy Replacement Now Being Accepted

Kingman, AZ (October 27, 2026) – Cerbat Constable Edward Carmen has resigned, effective October 31, 2026. Interested applicants for the Cerbat Constable position should send a letter of interest and resume to Laura Skubal, Clerk of the Board. Applicants may submit materials in person at the Mohave County Administration Building, 700 W Beale Street, 3rd Floor, Kingman; by email to the county clerk, Laura Skubal, at clerk@mohave.gov; or by mail.

The successful candidate will fill the remaining vacancy from November 16, 2026, through December 31, 2026.

The deadline to be considered for appointment by the Board of Supervisors is November 11, 2026. Applicants will be interviewed on Monday, November 16, 2026. Any questions should be directed to Laura Skubal at 928-753-0731. The selected candidate must reside in the Cerbat precinct and be a member of the same political party as the departing constable. Carmen is a Republican (ARS §16-230).
