Ballot Processing Update: Late Early Ballot Tabulation Complete; Provisional Ballot Review Continues

KINGMAN, AZ. — The Mohave County Recorder's Office and Mohave County Elections

Department continue making steady progress in processing ballots following Tuesday's election.

As of 5:30 p.m. today, the Elections Department has completed tabulation of the remaining 6,468 late early ballots and 74 provisional ballots. Updated unofficial election results were posted to the Mohave County Elections website at 6:39 p.m.

Recorder's Office staff continue reviewing approximately 319 remaining provisional ballots to determine voter eligibility. That review will resume Friday morning, and any additional eligible provisional ballots will be forwarded to the Elections Department for processing and tabulation.

The Voter Registration Division is also working with voters whose early ballots require signature verification. Approximately 55 early ballots remain in the signature cure process. Voters whose signatures require verification have until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, to contact the Mohave County Recorder's Office, Voter Registration Division, to cure their ballot and ensure it can be counted.

Election results remain unofficial until all eligible ballots have been processed and the election has been canvassed. The Mohave County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to canvass the election on Monday, August 3.
