County Outdoor Fire and Fireworks Prohibition Lifted
The Outdoor Fire and Permissible Consumer Fireworks Prohibition enacted by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on June 2, 2025, for the unincorporated areas of the County, has been lifted effective 8:00 a.m. on September 9, 2025.
The Bureau of Land Management and the Arizona Department of Forestry & Fire Management has lifted Stage 2 restrictions on their managed lands at the same time.
The Mohave County Division of Emergency Management issued a determination on September 8, 2025, that a state of fire emergency no longer existed in the County. This determination was issued after consultation with multiple fire departments, the State of Arizona and the Bureau of Land Management had verified that extensive monsoon precipitation had substantially mitigated the wildland fire threat across the county.
