Courts to Institute Higher Filing fees

ustice Courts, Superior Courts, and Appellate courts will all see fee increases beginning December 28th, 2024. This is for filing fees only.

 On October 24, 2024, proposed amendments to the Arizona Code of Judicial Administration §§ 2-301 (Appellate Fees), 3-404 (Superior Court Fees), and 4-303 (Justice Court Fees) were presented to the Arizona Judicial Council to increase filing fees. The Council approved the proposal and recommended for adoption, which is an 18% filing fee increase.

 Chief Justice Timmer has signed Administrative Orders 2024-208 (Appellate Fees), 2024-210 (Superior Court Fees), and 2024-211 (Justice Court Fees) ordering the increase of the filing fees.

 In conjunction with the filing fee increase, updates will be made to the AJACS database supported by the Administrative Office of the Courts. In addition, the eCourt Services Unit will be updating the fees accordingly within AZTurboCourt and eFileAZ.
