Mohave County Libraries Host 2025 All-Ages Summer Reading Program 

The Mohave County Library District invites readers of all ages to participate in its annual Summer Reading Program for 2025. This year’s program theme celebrates art with the slogan, “Color Our World”. Summer Reading runs from Friday, May 30th, 2025, to Saturday, July 12th, 2025. There are several ways to enroll in this free library program.  Participants can install the Beanstack mobile app through Google Play or the Apple Store and search for “Mohave County Library District”, or sign-up through the Mohave County Library District website at: https://mohavecountylibrary.us/summer-reading-program. Sign-up is also available in person at any Mohave County Library location. Library team members are always able to assist with sign-up or program questions, and a library card is not required to participate in Summer Reading.

Held annually, the Summer Reading Program is free and open to all ages and residents of Mohave County and is designed to support literacy and strengthen reading skills outside of traditional school schedules during summer months. Participants can earn incentive points and prizes by logging their reading minutes, completing online challenges, and attending library-hosted events at any Mohave County Library location. In addition, weekly art-themed activities and educational programs for babies, toddlers, children, teens, and adults are planned including family storytimes, art and craft sessions, group games, STEM programs, and so much more! Summer Reading is an opportunity for families to connect, grow and learn together and it reflects Mohave County Library District’s dedication to education and community engagement through accessible learning experiences.  

The Summer Reading program concludes on Saturday, July 12th, 2025, and reading minutes can be logged until Saturday, July 26th, 2025. Each branch location will host their own all-ages Wrap-Up event during the final week of Summer Reading with free activities and prize raffles for Summer Reading program attendees.
