Mohave County Recorder’s Office Announces Decision Not to Join Voter Communication Cohort
Kingman, AZ — 06/30/2025 — Mohave County Recorder’s Office, Voter Registration today announced that it will not be participating in the upcoming Pathfinder Cohort with U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence focused on voter registration communication efforts. After careful consideration, Recorder’s Office chose to pursue alternative strategies to support civic engagement that better align with its current priorities and capacity.
“We strongly support the importance of increasing voter registration communication to our voters.,” said Mohave County Recorder, Lydia Durst of Mohave County. “While we are not joining the cohort, we remain committed to empowering our Mohave County voters through civic education and nonpartisan outreach.”
The decision reflects the strategic alignment of resources and goals for the current fiscal year. Mohave County Recorder’s Office will continue to collaborate with partners across the region and pursue initiatives that enhance voter access, awareness, and engagement in ways that are sustainable and impactful.
The Recorder’s Office extends its appreciation to the organizers of the cohort as well as our voters. The Voter Registration division looks forward to exploring future opportunities for partnership and shared action.
