Mohave County Recorder’s Office Shares Important Election Dates and Voting Information for the 2026 Primary Election
The Mohave County Recorder’s Office is reminding voters of important upcoming deadlines and voting options ahead of the July 21, 2026, Primary Election.
Mohave County voters have multiple secure and convenient ways to participate in the election process, including InPerson Early Voting, Early Voting by Mail, and Election Day voting. Election mail is not forwardable by the United States Postal Service. Voters who will be away from home during the election may make a one-time request that their ballot be mailed to an alternate address.
Important Election Dates:
- June 6, 2026 — UOCAVA ballots sent to overseas military servicemembers and citizens.
- June 24, 2026 — Early voting begins, and ballots are mailed to voters on the Active Early Voting List (AEVL) and to those who requested a ballot by mail.
- June 24 – July 17, 2026 — In-person early voting is available Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Locations at the Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City, and Kingman Mohave County Libraries.
- July 6, 2026 — Recommended deadline to request a ballot by mail to ensure sufficient delivery time.
- July 10, 2026 — Last day to request an early ballot by mail.
- July 17, 2026 — Last day of in-person early voting. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (last day only).
- July 21, 2026 — Primary Election Day. Locate your polling location at www.My.Arizona.Vote.
Arizona Primary Election Information
Arizona is a partisan primary state. Voters registered with a recognized political party will receive that party’s ballot. For the 2026 Primary Election, voters registered as Independent (IND), Party Not Designated (PND), or “Other” may choose a Republican ballot, Democratic ballot, or No Labels ballot. These are all political party ballots.
Voting Options in Mohave County voters may participate through:
- Early Voting by Mail if enrolled on AEVL or if a ballot has been requested
- Drop boxes are located inside the early voting locations during hours of operation and at the County Administration Building
- In-Person Early Voting
- Election Day Voting
Colorado City Early Voting Opportunity
The Recorder’s Office will also provide an in-person early voting opportunity in Colorado City on July 10th and July 11th at Mohave College to improve voter access and convenience for residents in the area.
