Mohave County Recorder’s Office, Voter Registration Division Launches Mass Mailer to Ensure Clean and Accurate Voter Rolls

Mohave County Recorder’s Office announced the launch of a mass mailer campaign aimed at maintaining the accuracy and integrity of voter registration records. This initiative is part of the office's ongoing commitment to ensuring that voter rolls are up-to-date ahead of any upcoming election and ensuring the voters know how they are registered to vote.

Notices were mailed on Friday, May 9th to all 147,560 Mohave County Active voters, excluding voters within the Town of Colorado City, as they are currently hosting a jurisdictional election. These mailings help identify voters who have moved, changed their names, or are otherwise no longer eligible to vote at their registered address.

“Maintaining accurate voter rolls is critical to election security and efficiency,” said Lydia Durst, Mohave County Recorder.

Voters are asked to review the postcard to ensure they are registered at the correct residential address and with the political party of their choice. If a postcard is received and the recipient no longer lives at or receives mail at that address, the mailing should be marked “not at this address” and should be placed back in the mail.

This process complies with the requirements of the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) and relevant state laws to ensure transparency and fairness. Voters can also update their information online at AZMVDNow.gov or by contacting the election office directly at (928) 753-0767.
