Selection for Political Party Ballot in Upcoming Primary Election
Mohave County issued a 90-day notice in late April to all active voters to inform them of important deadlines and requirements related to political party ballot selection for the upcoming election cycle.
Voters are reminded that Arizona recognizes five political parties: No Labels, Republican, Democratic, Libertarian, and Green. Voters who are registered as Independent (IND), Party Not Designated (PND), or Other may request a political party ballot where an open primary is available.
For the 2026 Primary Election, the Republican, Democratic, and No Labels parties will be conducting open primaries, allowing eligible voters to participate in those party contests in accordance with Arizona election law and party rules.
Once voters complete, sign, and return their party selection notice or ballot request form, their selection is considered final for that election cycle. After submission, voters will not have the option to request a different political party ballot.
Mohave County encourages all voters to carefully review their selections before submitting their completed forms to ensure accuracy and to avoid delays or limitations in ballot access.
