The NWS is forecasting widespread moderate to heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and gusty winds beginning Saturday afternoon and continuing into early next week. Primary concerns include localized flash flooding, particularly in washes and low-lying areas, and the potential for damaging winds.

While confidence is increasing regarding widespread rainfall and gusty winds, uncertainty remains regarding the exact timing and locations of the heaviest precipitation.

Mohave County Emergency Management will continue monitoring conditions and coordinating with our local partners as the system approaches. Additional updates will be provided as warranted.
