Expiration dates initially count from your permit issuance date. On the bottom of your signed permit it states: Building Code Ordinance No. 2021-03 amended Section R 105.5 states "Every permit issued shall become invalid unless the work authorized by such permit is commenced within 180 days after its issuance, or the work authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned for a period of 180 days after the time the work is commenced." The 180 day date will restart with every passed inspection or if an extension is requested prior to the 180th day. Extensions and Reinstatement requests can be sent to building@mohave.gov and must be requested in email form.

Inspectors are out in the field normally between 8am and 3:30 pm. Times are not guaranteed as each inspection can take a different amount of time to complete as well as travel time between inspections that can vary. Normally you do not have to be present for the inspection by your permit package and plans if any must be on site in an obvious to find place for the inspection to be signed off.

Corrections can be found on the online portal in your permit. Find your inspection and you should see the corrections note. While physical corrections notes are still currently printed, they will be stapled to your permit on site.
