Golden Valley Ranch Effluent
- Effluent from both WWTPs will meet Class A+ reuse requirements and all AZPDES permit requirements.
- Effluent from both plants will be used to water golf course and other green space within Golden Valley Ranch.
- Excess effluent will be discharged to tributary of Thirteen Mile Wash.
- Reuse will always be the first option. Discharge to wash only if absolutely necessary.
Golden Valley Ranch - Finances
- Rhodes/Perkins Mountain Utilities will finance the construction, maintenance and operation of the plant from startup to buildout, in conformance with ACC guidelines and rate rulings.
Golden Valley Ranch - Schedule
- Interim WWTP – currently under design, ready for service by March 2007.
- Permanent WWTP – design to begin in July 2006, ready for service by December 2007.
Golden Valley Ranch/Kingman Coordination
- Rhodes/Perkins Mountain and Kingman have been discussing transfer of flows from Kingman WWTP to Golden Valley Ranch WWTP. Discussions ongoing.
- If agreement is reached, phase 1 of permanent WWTP will be upsized to accommodate flows.
