Subdivision Review Fees
SUBDIVISION REVIEW FEES

The Planning and Zoning Manager shall have the option to waive a review fee after the initial review based upon a reasonable circumstance or an action out of control of the developer, e.g.: a review initiated by an action of the County; inconsequential minor revisions or corrections to a plat or related reports; lack of timely reception of some outside agency comments or requirements and similar issues that, in the opinion of the Planning and Zoning Manager, do not warrant an additional charged review.
1. Fees for services provided through implementing the Mohave County Zoning Ordinance shall be as follows:
A. Automation Fee
15. An Automation Fee of $40 will be charged on each building or zoning permit, variance or phrase
interpretation, plan amendment, initial submission of a site plan or subdivision plat, requests for extensions, amendments of resolutions, and rezoning or special or conditional use permit-application submitted except when the application or permit fee is less than $80. For permits and applications that have less than an $80 fee, a fee of 1/2 the permit or application fee will be charged.
2. Fees for services provided through implementing the Mohave County Land Division Regulations shall be as follows:
A. Processing Fees
- Subdivisions
a. Application Fee (non-refundable): | $2,000 each, for Preliminary Plans and Final Plats (with the initial submittal of the Preliminary Plan, and the Final Plat for each phase, PLUS the following review and other applicable fees) |
b. Preliminary Plan and Final Plat review fees: (Minimum review fee of $500) |
$10 per acre plus $10 per lot/parcel/unit, with each review submittal |
c. Amendment to Final Plat (re-plat): | Final Plat review fee |
d. Amendment to Land Division Regulations: | $1,000 |
e. Amendment to Preliminary Plat after Board approval: |

f. Abandonment (of an easement or right-of-way): | $600 |
g. Reversion to Acreage: | $400 |
h. Concurrent Abandonment and Reversion to acreage: |

i. Tentative Plat for non-residential subdivisions: | Preliminary Plan review fee |
j. Final Plat for non-residential subdivisions: | Final Plat review fee |
k. Lot Plat: | $250 each different lot |
l. Type II Subdivision: | Application Fee + final plat fees |
m. Petitions of Exception: | $350 for each different petition not submitted with the preliminary plat |
n. Appeal items: | $1,000 |
o. Extensions of time for Preliminary Plans: | $200 |
p. Extensions of time for completion of improvements: |
$100 |
q. Developer’s Agreements (review, work on, approval): |
$2900 |
