IMPLEMENTATION PROCESS
Prerequisite Requirements
- Pertains to qualifying remnant roads ("road" or "roads") established in BOS Resolution No. 2023-215 as amended.
- Program improved roads must connect to an existing County maintained road.
- A road(s) must be improved in its entirety for the limits described in BOS Resolution No. 2023-215 as amended.
Process
- Public Works will advise any private entity (i.e., a property owner abutting a road or agent applying for driveway permit of the remnant road restoration program. thereof) applying for a driveway permit of the remnant road restoration program.
- A private entity contacts the Public Works Department - Engineering Division when interested in improving a road(s).
- Private entity will obtain a no-fee Right-of-Way Use Permit when electing to transport aggregate A. base or asphalt millings to their road(s) of interest.
- Private entity(s) will remit calculated total monetary equivalent, based on the amount per abutting lot established in BOS Resolution No. 2023-215 as amended, for County performance of asphalt millings transport for their road(s) of interest.
