Valle Vista Remnant Road Improvement Process and Map

IMPLEMENTATION PROCESS

Prerequisite Requirements

  • Pertains to qualifying remnant roads ("road" or "roads") established in BOS Resolution No. 2023-215 as amended.
  • Program improved roads must connect to an existing County maintained road.
  • A road(s) must be improved in its entirety for the limits described in BOS Resolution No. 2023-215 as amended.

Process

  1. Public Works will advise any private entity (i.e., a property owner abutting a road or agent applying for driveway permit of the remnant road restoration program. thereof) applying for a driveway permit of the remnant road restoration program.
  2. A private entity contacts the Public Works Department - Engineering Division when interested in improving a road(s).
    1. Private entity will obtain a no-fee Right-of-Way Use Permit when electing to transport aggregate A. base or asphalt millings to their road(s) of interest.
    2. Private entity(s) will remit calculated total monetary equivalent, based on the amount per abutting lot established in BOS Resolution No. 2023-215 as amended, for County performance of asphalt millings transport for their road(s) of interest.
