ASSIGNMENT REQUEST PROCEDURE
Complete a “Request for Assignment”. If you do not already have a bidder number, click the link on the “Assignment Request Form” to go to the Internal Revenue Service to obtain a W-9. If you live outside the United States be sure to complete a W-8BEN.
Please send copies of all legal documents required if you are acting on behalf of another bidder. (Some legal documents may require County Attorney review and approval.) Please keep a copy for your records.
Review the “Available Parcel Listing” to determine which parcels you wish to purchase tax liens against. “Available Parcel Listing” can be found on our website at Mohave.gov, “All Property Tax Data” (under Popular Services on the right side of the webpage), “Assignment Requests for State Liens”.
Calculate the total amount for all parcels requested.
CAUTION - Parcel listings are for a specific period of time, through the end of the month only. Payments that do not match EXACTLY will be returned unprocessed.
Use the “CHECKLIST” when preparing your request to help ensure that you have completed and included all the information and documentation necessary to process your request.
