PLAN REQUIREMENTS: 2 full sets of engineered building plans and calculations (1 set of plans and calculations must
be wet-stamped). Engineer must be registered in Arizona. All building plans must include a
code analysis listing the following information:

a. Code Block (codes the project has been designed to)
b. Scope of work
c. Occupancy
d. Height and area calculations
e. Type of construction
f. Occupant load
g. Fire suppression systems (if required)
h. Vicinity map
i. Site plan of the property
j. Owner information
k. Contractor information

GENERAL NOTES:

(Recommended) Pre-application meetings can be arranged through the Planning
Department.
Steel buildings must be designed and inspected in accordance with the American Institute of
Steel Construction (AISC 360).
Special inspection forms should be completed and included with permit application prior to submittal.
