Checklist on Water Infrastructure Construction for District Ownership and Operation

• Retain an Arizona registered professional engineer as Engineer of Record for infrastructure design.
• Obtain Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) Approval for Construction for all water infrastructure improvements proposed for ownership conveyance to the District.
• Obtain Public Works Right-of-Way Use Permit for any construction within County rights-of-way.
• Obtain ADEQ Approval of Construction for the constructed water infrastructure improvements.
• Obtain County inspections for permit closeout and water infrastructure construction.
• Submit infrastructure test reports and as-built plans.
• Submit completed Form of Conveyance for all water infrastructure improvements proposed for ownership conveyance to the District
