Our Mission

Department Mission: In accordance with A.R.S. § 11‑584, the Mohave County Public Defender’s Office exists to provide constitutionally mandated legal representation to individuals entitled to appointed counsel. Our mission is to uphold the Sixth Amendment guarantee of effective assistance of counsel, safeguard due process, and ensure that the government meets all legal obligations when seeking to prosecute and convict.
