Improvement Districts

Our Mission

Our mission is to support the community by providing guidance and information essential for establishing improvement districts, as well as serving property owners within County-managed districts. The Mohave County Improvement Districts Office currently oversees several districts located in the Kingman, Golden Valley, and Lake Havasu areas. In addition, we manage the water system serving the I-40 Industrial Corridor. Improvement districts may be formed to fund and maintain infrastructure such as streets, water, sewer, drainage, and other local improvements, in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes, Title 48.
