Candidate Statement:

My name is Jean Kuhn, and I am proud to be a candidate for the Topock Elementary School Board. I have called this community home for 26 years, and during that time, I have developed a deep appreciation for the people who live here and the values we share. I am running for the school board because I believe our community deserves transparency, open communication, and a stronger connection with our school. As a board member, I will work to ensure that decisions are made openly and that information is shared clearly with parents, staff, and residents. I want to serve as a bridge between our community and the school administration - listening to concerns, asking questions, and making sure every voice is heard. It is important to me that parents, taxpayers, and community members feel represented and respected in the decisions that impact our children's education. Our school is at the heart of our community. I am committed to supporting students, encouraging parent involvement, and helping build trust through honesty and accountability. I would be honored to earn your support and the opportunity to serve Golden Shores/Topock.
